  • Other Curriculum Improvements
    Audience: Administrators and Guides. Overview A summary of smaller improvements to the Curriculum page and sample curriculum sets. On the Curriculum works table, click Works, Created, or Last Used Date to sort the list. Each work shows its observation count, such as (12 Observations). Click the count to see recent usage and jump directly to that student in the Workspace. Add Sample Curriculum can load a ready-made Primary or Elementary set of areas and works.   • Organizing Curriculum Areas
    Audience: Administrators and Guides. Overview Different classrooms may use different parts of the curriculum. Organize Areas lets you choose which areas each classroom sees and set the order they appear in. Choosing and ordering a classroom's areas On the Workspace, open the Area dropdown above the progress grid. Choose Organize Areas. A window opens with all areas in the school's curriculum.   • Student Setup
    The **Students** button on the main menu provides the gateway to add new students into your classroom and update existing Student’s Profiles, Contacts, Medical Information, Allergies and Enrollment.Few readers
  • Adding Enrollment Periods
    To add a new enrollment period select **Administration** from the main menu and **Enrollment and Session Setup** from the submenu.Few readers
  • Subscription and Billing (Administrators)
    Audience: Administrators only. Guides do not have access to the Subscription page. Overview The Subscription page brings your school's billing information together in one place: payment method, billing email, subscription details, pause and cancel options, and payment history. Open the Subscription page by clicking the gear icon at the top right, then choosing Subscription. The page shows: Payment method - the card used for billing.   • Observations and Student History
    Audience: Administrators and Guides. Overview Click Observations in the top menu. The page is a single History feed showing everything recorded for a student in one timeline. Reading the history feed Choose a classroom, then choose a student from the list on the left. Entries appear newest first. Workspace: a progress entry recorded from the Workspace.   • Curriculum Clean Up (Administrators)
    Audience: Administrators only. Overview Clean Up helps you find curriculum areas and works that are old, unused, or duplicated. You can remove several at once and restore removed items for 30 days. Note: Curriculum Clean Up is for administrators. Opening Clean Up Go to Administration, then Curriculum, and click the Clean Up button. There are two tabs: Review and Archive, and Recently Archived. Finding items Choose a filter on the left.   • Merging Works and Areas (Administrators)
    Audience: Administrators only. Merging is available from the Curriculum section. Overview Merging is useful when duplicates have built up over time, such as two copies of the same work or two versions of the same area. The merge keeps the useful history under the item you choose to keep. Note: Merging is for administrators and is available from the Curriculum section.   • Using Enrollment Periods
    Enrollment periods contain information about your school’s daily session schedule and the students enrolled into these sessions.Few readers
  • Managing Who Can Create Curriculum
    Audience: Administrators only. Overview Administrators can decide, for each classroom, whether guides are allowed to create new areas and new works. Note: This is an administrator setting. Setting classroom permissions Go to Administration, then Classrooms, and open a classroom. In Settings, find Allow guides to create new areas and Allow guides to create new works. Turn the settings on or off as needed. When a setting is off, the matching Add button is hidden from guFew readers
  • Student's Birthday
    To enter Birthdays select **Students** from the main menu.Few readers
  • Adding Classrooms to a School
    To add a new classroom to your school select **Administration** from the main menu and then select **School Setup** from the sub menu.Few readers
  • Deleting a School
    You can delete schools you no longer need from your account using the Administration tools.Few readers
  • Deleting a Student
    Once a student is not longer needed you can delete them from your account.Few readers
  • Deleting a Classroom
    To delete a classrooms select **Administration** from the main menu and then select **Classroom Setup** from the sub menu.Few readers

    The Montessori Workspace staff is happy to import your classroom curriculum for you.Few readers
  • Closing Your Montessori Workspace Account
    The best way to stop Montessori Workspace from billing you each month is to delete enough students to get below the "5 free students" limit.Few readers

    When adding students use the **Students** selection on the main menu or **+Add Student** found above the various student lists.Few readers
  • Workspace and Progress
    Audience: Administrators and Guides. Overview The Workspace is the main page for recording and tracking student progress through the curriculum. It may also be called the progress page. Finding your way around Choose a classroom at the top. The page has three main areas: Left: the Students and Works tabs.   • Enrolling Students
    One way to enroll students into a session is with **+Add Student** found above the student list on the Workspace, Observation and other pages.Few readers
  • Assigning Guides to Classrooms
    You can assign Guides to a Classroom from the perspective of the guide or classroom.Few readers
  • Moving Students Between Classrooms
    Moving students from one classroom to another is a two step process; adding the student to the new classroom followed by removing them from the old classroom.Few readers
  • Wirthdraw/Unenroll a Student
    Follow these steps if you wish to remove a student from an enrollment period, but not delete their information or records.Few readers
  • Changing Administrator Access Level
    To change a Guide's access level from Administrator to Guide or vice-versa select **Administration** from the main menu and then **Guides** from the sub menu.Few readers
  • Managing Students
    Audience: Administrators and Guides. Deleting students is for administrators only. Overview Click Students in the top menu to see the students in your school. Use this page to search, sort, filter, count, and export students, and to manage each student's profile. The Students page Classroom: view one classroom or All Classrooms.   • Recover a Deleted Student
    If you have accidentally deleted a student you may recover (undelete) this student for up to 30 days.Few readers

    A separate account should be created for each Guide in your school and there is no additional cost for a Guide accounts.Few readers

    You can delete a guide's account you no longer need using the Administration tools.Few readers
  • Changing the School Name
