Mapping State Standards to Works
Audience: Administrators only for setup. Administrators and Guides can run the report.
State Standards can be tracked and reported using Standards. Standards are tags that map to your state's requirements and might have names like Number Sense (State Standard 1) or Problem Solving (State Standard 6). You link your works to the corresponding Standards, and can link several to a single work.
Setting up Standards
- Open Account Settings and select the Standards tab.
- Create a Standard Group, then add your Standards within it. Groups exist to organise standards on the report.
Linking Standards to works
- Go to the Curriculum tab. Inside each Area you will find the area's Works with a Linked Standards dropdown next to each.
- For every work associated with a state standard, select the appropriate Standard or Standards.
Running a Progress Report
- Select Reports from the main menu and go to the Progress Report section.
- Choose a Start Date and End Date if you want to limit the report to a period.
- Set Basis for Assessment to Standards. Works appear under the Standards they are linked to. Choose Areas instead to organise the report by curriculum area.
- Under Works to Include, choose which progress levels to show. Tick Hidden Works or Hidden Areas to include those as well.
- Select Generate Report.
Good to know: Progress Reports are saved. Pick an earlier one under Previous Progress Report to compare progress over time. Use Reset to clear your choices and start again.
