Adding Photos to Observations

Audience: Administrators and Guides.

You can attach a photo when you write a new observation, add one to an entry that is already in the student's feed, or replace a photo that is already there.

Adding a photo to a new observation

  1. On the Observations page, select the student.
  2. Click the camera button below the Write an observation box and choose a photo. You can add a photo with or without a note.
  3. Select Add Observation.

Adding a photo to an existing entry

  1. In the student's feed, click the pencil icon on the entry. This works for written observations and for progress entries recorded from the Workspace.
  2. Click the camera button and choose a photo. You can also change the note here, or use the calendar icon to change the date.
  3. Select Save.

Replacing or removing a photo

  1. In the student's feed, click the pencil icon on the entry.
  2. Click the Delete link under the photo. The photo is removed and the camera button appears again.
  3. To replace it, click the camera button and choose a new photo. To leave the entry without a photo, skip this step.
  4. Select Save.

Good to know: You can only edit entries that you created yourself. Attendance entries cannot be edited.
