# Schools, Classrooms, Sessions and Enrollment 

*Audience: Administrators and Guides.*

Montessori Workspace uses the notion of Classrooms, Sessions and Enrollment to match your real world configuration. Classrooms contain students and guides. Enrollment places students into selected sessions for a classroom (see Enrolling Students). Guides are assigned to classrooms by an Administrator (see Assigning Guides to Classrooms).

All new accounts are created with a single classroom, My Classroom, and one Enrollment Period. The default sessions are AM Care, AM Session, Lunch, PM Session and PM Care. If this matches your school, you can start adding students by enrolling them into particular sessions on the days of the week they attend.
