# Managing Standards

*Audience: Administrators only.*

> **Note:** This is an administrator setting.

1. Open Account Settings and select the Standards tab.
2. Standards are organised into Standard Groups. To create a group, add a new Standard Group and give it a name.
3. To manage standards, select a group from the list. Use Add New Standard to Group to add standards, and edit existing standards in place. Delete Standard and Delete Standard Group are also available.

Once you have defined your Standards, return to the Curriculum tab and link each Standard to its corresponding work using the pull down menu in the Linked Standards column. You can link multiple Standards to a single work.

> **Note:** If your access level is not Administrator, you cannot edit the Standards.
