# Changing Observations Dates 

*Audience: Administrators and Guides.*

A new observation is dated today. If you are recording something that happened earlier, add the observation first, then change its date.

1. In the Observations feed, find the entry and click the calendar icon.
2. Choose the correct date and save.

> **Good to know:** You can only change the date of entries that you created yourself. Attendance entries cannot be changed.
